What to Expect at Your Sedation Dentistry Appointment
Before your appointment, we will review your medical history and discuss which sedation option is best for you. For oral and IV sedation, you will need a responsible adult to drive you to and from the appointment.
On the day of your visit, you will arrive at our W 6th Street office and be settled into a comfortable treatment room. Our anesthesiologist will administer your chosen sedation and monitor your vital signs throughout the procedure. You will feel calm and comfortable from start to finish.
Recovery is straightforward. After the sedation wears off, you may feel a little groggy for the rest of the day. Most patients return to normal activities the next morning.
